We came in on Christmas Eve in search of masa for tamales. It was $33 for 10lb of masa (salada), which we decided to buy. They also sell masa for dulce tamales, but we decided to pass on them this year. The pastries looked delightful so we picked up a handful of those as well and some hot chocolate. The Mexican bread was fluffy, sweet and smelled so yummy. They closed @1pm on Christmas Eve which is a life saver for last minute tamales shoppers such as ourselves. The tamales we made came out absolutely amazing... a little greasy but oh so good!

This morning 12/26/24 I went to La Bella Rosa explained what had happen with my Tamale order being incorrect, the manager was very understanding and willing to give me the last dozen and half of red pork tamales for free along with some bread. I am very grateful they are honest. I will definitely recommend La Bella Rosa to all family and friends

We came in to get a cake the day of and they had four ready made cake flavors: white, marble, chocolate, and tres leches. Staff was very friendly and helpful and offered to write a note on the cake. We got the marble cake and it had light frosting, moist cake, and strawberry filling inside, for a good price as well.

LA Bella Rosa Cake Shop was recommended to us by our Wedding Coordinator - Epic Wedding and Events for our destination wedding in Santa Barbara. When we arrived for our cake tasting we originally thought it was a pandaria. However their cake shop is just across the parking lot. We were provided with 3 cute cakes. We selected 3 tiered marble with strawberry filling and a non dairy frosting and a red velvet with chocolate mousse cake. It was delicious. Our guests loved it. We provided our design vision and they were able to replicate to a "T" . The price was very reasonable. I will say, it did take a bit to connect with them, but be patient because it was definitely worth it. I would highly recommend La Bella Rosa . Our guest talked about our wedding cake after the wedding.

Busy place with self service pastries in a vibrant little neighborhood. Very efficient team works with a steady stream of customers, most of whom are there everyday. Great tasting pastries. Bought a chile relleno burrito to take home and was offered sauce to go with it.

Burritos and sweets at an unbelievable price! We go there on rainy days but it's a great treat all the time. We went when the power was out but we still got to get our treats! They're so welcoming and friendly and when you walk in you can smell the amazingness!

Some of the best conchas I've ever tasted - very soft, not overly sweet. Stepping in here was like going to an Asian bakery, but instead of Asian pastries, it was Mexican breads. The Apple empanada was also very balanced - great crispy outside, soft apple cinnamon mixture inside, and the pastry did not never get soggy. Want to come here again to try all the different breads and menudo. They also sell sweet and salty masa in 5 lb bags, so now i know where to go when I want to learn how to make tamales. Parking is tight and the decor seemed a bit outdated, but the cashiers were polite and attentive.
